    Dr. David Blann, a Lubbock native, is the OB/GYN Medical Director and the Chief Information & Quality Officer for Covenant Medical Group. Dr. Blann is a clinical expert in routine and high-risk obstetrics, operative obstetrics, obstetrical ultrasound, benign gynecology, gynecologic surgery, robotic surgery, laparoscopy/ hysteroscopy, gynecologic ultrasound, dysplasia, incontinence, menopause, and basic infertility. A highly respected researcher, Dr. Blann has had a variety of academic appointments over his medical career and written a number of peer-reviewed publications. He also currently serves as a clinical instructor for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine. Dr. Blann is a fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and was honored several times for his research and outstanding performance as a resident. Honesty and integrity is paramount to Dr. Blann. He is a straight shooter when it comes to caring for his patients' health. He likes to get to the point quickly and his patients enjoy the fact that he doesn't sugar coat or beat around the bush. In his spare time Dr. Blann loves spending time with his wife and kids, traveling, and scuba diving. Fun Fact: Dr. Blann was a drummer in the Goin' Ban from Raiderland!
