    Biography
    Dr. Aurelio Cervera specializes in clinical cardiac electrophysiology. He completed his Internal Medicine training and initiated his Cardiology Fellowship at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago, and he accomplished his Cardiology and Electrophysiology Fellowships at Yale University in Connecticut. Dr. Cervera has 12 years’ experience in cardiac arrhythmia management, with specific interest in cryoablation, radiofrequency ablation, permanent pacemaker and defibrillator implantation and management; including, leadless pacemakers and subcutaneous defibrillators and implantable loop recorders. Dr. Cervera is board certified in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, Cardiovascular Disease, and Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and Heart Rhythm Society. Dr. Cervera has been serving Lubbock and its surrounding areas since his relocation from San Antonio in 2013, where he practiced for six years.
