    Dr. Cavaretta MD is a General and Bariatric Surgeon at the new Covenant Health Hobbs Hospital. Originally from New York, he has been practicing since 2003 with a focus on General and Bariatric Surgery. He Completed a General Surgery Residency at Monmouth Medical Center and a Fellowship at Geisinger Medical Center. Professional memberships include Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and Fellow of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons. He utilizes best evidence-based medicine and established ethical standards in patient care. Dr. Cavaretta is especially passionate about caring for patients with Obesity, GERD, Hernias and Gallbladder disease via minimally invasive surgery.
