    Dr. Husband is a Board-Certified Family Medicine physician with special interest in Women’s Health, Pediatrics, and Obesity Medicine. After completing her B.S. in Biochemistry at Texas Tech University, Dr. Husband went on to attend Texas Tech Medical School where she graduated in the top 15% of her class. She then completed her training in Family Medicine at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Department of Family and Community Medicine where she gained experience treating patients of all ages, managing obstetrical patients, and honing her interest in Women’s Health. She was awarded the Residency Award for Outstanding Resident Teacher in her final year. Before joining Grace Clinic, Dr. Husband had the pleasure of practicing Family Medicine in a rural community where she sharpened her clinical and procedural skills. She continues to work in an Emergency Room setting managing critical patients. She brings this wealth of experience to her outpatient clinical practice where she is able to manage complicated patients in conjunction with specialists. She is also experienced in office-based procedures to further diagnose and treat patients. Dr. Husband also worked with the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Department of Family and Community Residency Program where she was actively involved in teaching and guiding new physicians in the first years of their clinical practice. She was honored as the Best Family Medicine Attending for the 2024-2025 academic year.
