Richard Hope, MD, FAAD is a native of West Texas, having been raised in Brownfield, Texas. College was completed in San Angelo, Texas and four years of medical school in San Antonio, Texas. After that, he completed a year internship in internal medicine and a three year dermatology residency in Little Rock, Arkansas. He has been in practice in Lubbock, Texas since 1995. He continues to be involved in academic medicine by interacting with the dermatology residents at Texas Tech.
Dr. Hope is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in surgical dermatology. He has extensive experience in Mohs micrographic surgery for skin cancer, as well as cosmetic laser treatment, Botox/Dysport and Restylane/Juvederm injections of wrinkles.
Dr. Hope has been a clinical instructor in the Department of Dermatology at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in Lubbock since 1995.
