    Naticia Mortensen, MD is a board certified Family Medicine physician. Before joining Covenant Medical Group, she attended Texas Tech University for her undergraduate degree and completed both Medical School and Residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Dr. Mortensen has experience in all settings including clinic, urgent care, emergency, and hospital in-patient medicine. As a senior resident, she led a special COVID team, caring for patients hospitalized with COVID-19 and adjusting to the changing demands that this required. As a primary care physician, she advocates for her patients and coordinates with other specialists to ensure the very best care. Dr. Mortensen grew up in Southern Colorado in a small ranching community before moving to Lubbock 13 years ago; while not a native of Texas she "got here as fast as she could." She has a special interest in women’s health and adolescent medicine but enjoys caring for patients of all ages and establishing relationships with patients and their families that can last a lifetime. Dr. Mortensen also enjoys spending time with her husband and her two daughters who attend Lubbock Cooper schools and are active in cheerleading and tennis.
