    Biography

    Robert Scranton, MD was born and raised in Texas and received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio School of Medicine. He then completed his Neurological Surgery Residency at Houston Methodist Hospital in 2018. During this time, he also completed a Clinical Fellowship in Neurosurgery with the Atkinson Morley Department of Neurosurgery at St George’s University Hospital, London, UK.

    Dr. Scranton then completed his fellowship in Neurosurgical Oncology and Skull base surgery with Goodman Campbell Brain & Spine at the University of Indiana, School of Medicine in 2019. His practice has a concentration in Neurosurgical Oncology, minimally invasive stereotactic procedures, and Gamma Knife radiosurgery.

    He is excited to be working and caring for patients back in his home state.
