Biography
Biography
I am a compassionate Nurse Practitioner with more than a decade of progressive nursing experience spanning critical care, psychiatric nursing, orthopedic recovery, and complex case management. My clinical practice is grounded in holistic, patient‑centered care, and I am deeply committed to supporting individuals and families facing serious or life‑limiting illnesses. This broad foundation allows me to approach palliative care with clinical precision, emotional presence, and a strong advocacy mindset.
Throughout my career, I have served in roles that strengthened both my leadership and bedside practice. I directed operations on a 15‑bed psych‑med unit, supervised interdisciplinary teams, and mentored new nurses to promote clinical excellence and adherence to evidence‑based standards. My dedication to advancing nursing practice has included presenting research on Hypertriglyceridemia at Sigma Theta Tau in Edinburgh, Scotland, as well as earning multiple academic scholarships and Dean’s List honors.
I hold both a Master of Science in Nursing Administration/Education and a Post‑Master’s credential from Lubbock Christian University, where I continued to develop my leadership, education, and advanced practice skills. I maintain active involvement in professional organizations, including the Emergency Nurses Association, Texas Nurses Association, Transcultural Nursing Association, and South Plains Nurse Practitioner Association. Certified in BLS and ACLS, I remain committed to lifelong learning and to delivering compassionate, culturally informed care.
With a strong foundation in assessment, care planning, and symptom management, I strive to enhance quality of life for patients and families navigating serious illness.
