Zenaida Hernandez, APRN, AGPCNP-C, is an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner specializing in neurology. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington and brings more than 15 years of experience in neurology and neuroscience care to her practice. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked as a registered nurse caring for patients with a wide range of neurological conditions, developing extensive clinical expertise and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
Drawing on years of experience in neurology, she understands the challenges patients and their families may face when navigating complex neurological disorders. She is passionate about helping patients better understand their diagnoses, treatment options, and overall health so they can make informed decisions about their care.
She believes in treating every patient with compassion, respect, and genuine concern. By taking the time to listen, answer questions, and build meaningful relationships, she strives to ensure that each patient feels heard, supported, and valued. Her patients' best interests are always at the center of her care, and she is committed to helping them achieve the best possible outcomes.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, cheering on the Texas Tech Red Raiders, collecting succulents, and thrifting for unique treasures.
