Dr. Mowzoon completed her Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwell Staten Island University Hospital. Her training included emphasis on abnormal bleeding, and treatment of fibroids through minimally invasive robotic and laparoscopic surgery.
She trained in a high-volume obstetric setting giving her the experience to confidently manage the unpredictability of pregnancy. Dr. Mowzoon is focused on creating the best possible birthing experience for new mothers. She believes in a patient centered approach with an emphasis on a positive birth experience.
