Dr. Himanshu Parikh is known for his warm, likable and outgoing personality. His caring and compassionate yet direct communication style is much appreciated by his patients and colleagues alike. As a physician this has translated into excellent bedside manners. _x000D_Dr. Parikh received his B.S. in microbiology from the University of Bombay, Ph.D. from WSU, Michigan. He has also completed his postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychopharmacology from TTUHSC, School of Medicine, Lubbock, Texas where he cultivated his deep interest in understanding the root cause of some of psychiatric illness and exploring treatment options. He earned his MD from Medical University of the Americas in Nevis, West Indies. Dr. Parikh completed his Family Medicine residency at Mid-Hudson Institute for Family Health in Kingston, New York. Dr. Parikh has published and presented at various national and international conferences and given numerous scientific talks. He has been a member of several prestigious organizations. Dr. Parikh has been in an urgent care and family practice setting for almost 2 years in his role as a physician._x000D_ _x000D_Dr. Parikh enjoys spending time traveling, tennis, as well as hanging out with friends and family. Dr. Parikh loves to travel, and if given the chance to drop everything right now and go- he would choose to travel to Germany and The Alps.
