Specialty: vascular conditions of the head, neck and spine, Neuroangiography, carotid angiography, acute stroke, brain aneurysms, vascular malformations, vascular tumors of the brain, head, neck and spine, carotid stenosis, dural sinus thrombosis.
Thomas R. Windisch, MD earned his undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering from Johns Hopkins University followed by medical school at Texas A&M College of Medicine. He continued with residency training in Radiology at Scott & White Memorial Hospital followed by subspecialty fellowship training in Neuroradiology and Interventional Neuroradiology at the University of Texas
Southwestern Medical Center. He has practiced in Lubbock for over two decades. Dr. Windisch’s enthusiasm for his disciplines was recognized by his peers when he received the Covenant Health’s Physician Excellence Award in 2012.
